I agree with the male host when he says this is indeed quite strange. The intercept which is sceptical of the russian hacking yet was chosen to bring this out and julian assange went out of his way to name her a hero. I think Julian is killing two birds with one stone, one, he can get more sources for wikileaks by saying he can protect then and secondly he is discrediting other media and the way they handle their sources… I read some strange outlets which stated this data could be used for data analysis of voters… which is coinidentally what harvard analytica was working on? which in turn is funded by robert mercer, trump financier but I'd love to get a clearer look on this

Wait a minute Amy, don't you think it's kind of disingenuous for tim kaine to be anxious to cheer the content of this leak as 100% reliable but somehow didn't think we should listen to the valid content of what was revealed from the Wikileaks Emails about the dnc inner workings??? And how did you not challenge kaine on his assertion that there is proof the dnc Email leaks came from Russia, when no such proof exists?? The Intercept made it clear that this was only a speculative report that was based on one group doing an evaluation at a private contractor working for the dnc that had a conflict of interest in coming up with this evaluation without providing the data to support it.
We judge you to a higher standard of integrity Amy, don't blow it now to dnc special interests. I think trump stinks too, but this path to try to impeach him stinks even more. 🙁

The documents have absolutely no proof of a Russian hacking of the election process. This is such a joke. They must really think we are stupid.

It is such an obvious frame. It only takes common sense to see it. I can't believe people actually believe this. This is a sad thing for this country.

Amy Goodman and Democracy Now once again prove they are nothing more than establishment shills. If you put the PBS logo on there videos there would be no difference. Amy hammered Assad for Sarin attacks in 2013 even when the UN investigator said it was ISIS. The left bows down to Chomsky like he's a god and kisses Amy's butt, how pathetic that there is no real left in this country any more. The "progressives" and "conservatives" all support a global corporate regime agenda. Follow the money, especially Amy"s

If the government didn't want this information to be available to the public, whose side are they on? Watergate was only made public by leaks; otherwise the government's part in the break-in would not likely have come to light. Did this person make the right call? It's a tough call to make, but when push comes to shove protecting the people is more important than protecting the government.

LOL! Has it occurred to anybody else that Democracy Now may now be working with the NSA in a false-flag type operation? Has it occurred to anybody that it is undoubtedly far-easier for the NSA to hack US elections than Russian Intelligence? Remember how the NSA and other deep-state agencies have been collecting information on US citizens for years? And I don't think they are doing that to insure fair election outcomes.

I don't think Reality had sufficient reason to break the law. She could have waited longer to see what will happen and the information revealed is not of sufficient public value to justify breaking the law. She made the wrong call.

Take down low-level contractor how convenient.  She fills the  spot of  the perfect patsy.  Is she a snowflake? no doubt, but up to now that isn't a crime.  It seems too convenient a scape goat for the alphabet agencies to hide behind =  LOOK it's her…she did it. (whatever it is she did it) .  I want my country back.  I want  America to be productive, caring, trust worthy.

    Seems like more manufactured consent.
    1. She didn't work there long.
    2. She wasn't working there long but yet had enough access to info instead of going through a probationary period? 3. What is the actual history of this person and how many people knew her previously? where are they?
    4. How is it possible that she was so young but also had the ability/intelligence to work in such a facility?
    5. (sorry to any weightlifters out there) She was supposedly a very active  cross fit enthusiast…. how many extremely intelligent individuals do you know that are very devoted to cross fit?6.  The name AND activities sound like something from a computer generator of current pop culture or popular buzz words in North America…. Winner, cross fit, reality… Looking up more articles, there are plenty to paint a more current background, but instead of painting her as a Hillary supporter, it is still okay to vilify a Bernie supporter, so that is where her supposed heart lies….
    7. only about 6 photos exist of her online…Let us say that all of this is TRUE and REAL. Why does any of it matter?

Stop obsessing over Russia, do you realise how country's around the world are perceiving you. It makes you look fucking stupid detached from reality, Tim Kane you got your arses kicked by a political novice and it's killing you and the media in general.

Just unsubscribed from this RAG of fake news. The Intercept quotes,"it/document does not show the underlying 'raw' intelligence on which the analysis is based", hence as the intelligence officer states, we should not speculate on this "analysis"! Democracy Now has sunken to complete spin, offering NO evidence of "Russian Cyber attacks" because there is NONE. Someone please show me the evidence!
Now we have Homeland Security overseeing our elections ppl. This is unauthorized! They can't just take over CITIZEN oversight! BAN the voting machines like the rest of the civilized world!

How exactly do you qualify as an intelligence analyst but do not know how the agency you work for tracks documents?

Obviously hit the wrong e-mail address button, she's mistaken (mis-spoke) that was what she actually meant to do. Innocent, more so than 'Crooked' Donald's administration, et al.

George W Bush stole the election in 2000, everybody knows it, and nobody did anything, if USA want a pretext to go to war with Russia just do it . Do it if you dare.
