White Man Not Guilty Attacking Black Women

[ad_1] A Virginia man facing hate crime charges for attacking a Black woman has been found not guilty by reason of insanity. According to the Richmond-Times Dispatch, Matthew R. Ellis was accused of attacking the victim last year after he pulled up to her car at a traffic light and yelled obscenities through his car window. He then followed and rear-ended her car, before pulling the victim out of her car by the ankles and threatening to kill her. NYPD Is Responding To Report Of Times Square Area Explosion

WWE Wrestler Arrested For Assaulting His Pro Wrestler Wife

[ad_1] In Florida, a WWE professional wrestler was arrested for, “falsely imprisoning and battering his newlywed wife,” who happens to be a professional wrestler herself. ABC News reports, 26-year-old WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment, wrestler Rich Swann was arrested and suspended by the company indefinitely. Pioneering Journalist Simeon Booker Dies At Age 99

[ad_1] WASHINGTON (AP) — Simeon Booker, a trail-blazing African-American journalist and the first full-time black reporter at The Washington Post, died Sunday at the age of 99. Booker died at an assisted-living community in Solomons, Maryland, according to a Post obituary, citing his wife Carol. He had recently been hospitalized for pneumonia.
