It's sad that rational, intelligent, progressive folks accept the complete bullshit this dude shills as absolute truth. "Ethnic studies" of any sort should be more correctly re-branded as neo-comunist, anti-intellectual, revisionist brainwashing.

Accusing only police, who are essentially puppets of real authority, just doing as they were job trained, is like letting drug kingpins off the hook, since they do not visibly, on street corners deal. Put killer cops away for a while. Shut down our privatized, industrialized incarceration pens, too. Legalize dope. Provide education just as free to all as the not-poison water and clean air we breath –which is sort of what this FCC protected Inet does, at least unless or until Trump gets to kill it.

Kendi is correct. I lived in south Florida durning the late 80's – I was what @ the time called a rock STAR – (drugs) I saw first hand what both black and white cops did to people of color, they got me also but MUCH less after all I am white. get an extra and BLACK LIVES MATTER tee, when any whitish person doubts the veracity of your statements, dare them to wear said TEE shirt, into any walmart any Saturday. This is way too painful. Comming from another country where slavery was abolished 100 years before U.S and where we did not have segregation, discrimination, lynching and such despicable laws like the Jim Crow one , it is still extremely conflicted for me to understand and reasoning the incredible magnitude of the dismeasured hate that white people have against black people.
These poor woman and her innocent baby will be marked for the rest of their existence. Why these policemen did is call homicide. What an insult to the families of these innocent men.

You don't have to make out that Yanez is racist to convict him. The statute indicates that causing a death through incompetence is manslaughter: "by the person's culpable negligence whereby the person creates an unreasonable risk, and consciously takes chances of causing death or great bodily harm to another".

That's what so shocking is that the jurors don't seem to have considered this (how else could they have acquitted?).

Also according to Yanez' defense, a police officer would be justified in shooting any person with a concealed weapon. Where's the NRA?

Why don't these murderous cops shoot and kill Asians? Racism, yes? So cops in US just keep shooting at black people for no other reason, but racism. It's just weird that Asians get away without being shot and killed

"unofficial" code of silence? You mean collusion to cover up crimes meaning you are complicit wtf is this "unofficial & other dystopic terminology? The wording used is saying that in secret public employees have a code of silence which they don't feel accountable for. Secret laws=tyranny, it means public employees see the public not as their employers but as their subjects a separate class of person unable or undeserving of being treated with respect.

Ibram Kendi said: "I tried to think  about how the jurors could look at the facts of the case and still acquit the police officer". No, he didn't try that. What he did in his NY times piece was try to blame it on racism, without looking at any other facts than those that served his agenda. Kendi did not mention the fact that Philando Castile was stopped because he looked like a man (same age, same build, same hairstyle) who had robbed a store with a gun in that area four days earlier, which Geronimo Yanez had been investigating. Kendi did not mention the fact that Castile and his girlfriend Diamond Reynolds had been smoking marijuana with the child in the back (Reynolds also made a video of that, which can be found on youtube), that THC was found in Castile's system, that Yanez said he smelled burned marijuana when he first approached the car, that marijuana was found in the car. Kendi did not mention the fact that Castile informed Yanez that he had a gun while he was reaching for his wallet, which was behind his gun in his pocket, that Reynolds said (in a police interview, which can also be foundon youtube) that Castile had difficulty getting to his wallet because the gun was in the way. Kendi did not mention the fact that although the gun was licensed, Yanez had no way of knowing this, as Castile did not tell him, and he did not show him a license. Kendi did not mention the fact that Castile kept reaching for his ID near his gun even after being told not to do it three times by Yanez. All Kendi did was try to spin the case into his race agenda, ignoring the real reasons that lead to Castile's death, stirring up racial hatred against anyone who tries to explain why Castile was shot and Yanez was acquitted. It's a disgrace that this man calls himself a scientist, because what he does is the opposite of science, it's cherry-picking for the sake propaganda.

For God sake…Please quit calling thug behaviors; by criminals with badges…officers; just because they all wear a uniform of authority!!💯💯 Their criminal behaviors…along with the "1865 black code" system are legal under today's laws; otherwise these criminals with badges would be found guilty of murder in the first degree!!💯💯💯💯
Stop ✋ stop ✋ calling these criminals with badges officers!!💯💯💯 The word racist is not a part of the carnal nature, according to the Bible in Galatians 5; however, hate is a part of the carnal nature!!💯💯💯 TLJC said "if you hate you will murder!!"💯
The Lord Jesus Christ don't lie!!💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
